How Did We Get Our Start? In the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte, worked as a carpenter. His hands often cracked in the harsh winters of New England. To soothe them, he mixed beeswax and olive oil to create a herbal balm. It helped him so much, he decided to share it with his friends and family - and the rest, as they say, is Badger history.
